O-Week Sociology advisory session

Come along and find out about Sociology!

Undergraduate Convener and Deputy Head of School Dr Gavin Smith will explore what and how Sociology contributes to our understanding of the big issues of the day. Sociologists are interested in the nature and experience of social events like climatic change, war and migration, addiction, poverty, and everyday racism, and the discipline provides a unique way of thinking that will change how you regard social behaviour, social relationships and social transformation. He'll be giving some great information about the:
> Sociology Major/Minor
> Technology, Networks and Society Major/Minor

Registration is not required. Parents and guardians may also attend.

This event is accessible to students with a physical disability.
